STAR SHOWS AND TELESCOPES

If you live in the Rochester area or will be visiting please take a trip to the Strasenburgh Planetarium for a star show, large screen children's movie and/or laser show. Be sure to stop by the back Saturday evenings, around 8PM till 10PM and weather permitting, to take a look through our 12.5" Newtonian telescope that is free to the public. It is run by ASRAS volunteers such as our very own Carl Fuehrer.

The Rochester Astronomy Club runs Public Star Parties throughout the year where you can take a view through lots of different telescopes at various celestial objects, chat with club members and learn more about astronomy. Please visit the ASRAS website for times and locations.
